A Poem for Creation Tide
The boundless hand that spun the vibrant sphere,
Did paint the skies with azure, deep and wide,
And bid the mountains in their might appear,
While verdant plains stretched out on every side.
The feathered choir, their joyful carols raise,
The ocean's depths, a mystery untold,
Each living thing, in myriad, wondrous ways,
A testament to beauty, brave and bold.
Yet Man, oft straying from this grand design,
Hath wrought disquiet, marred this sacred art,
With careless hand, ignored the truth divine,
And left a wound upon creation's heart.
Oh, let us then, with contrite spirit turn,
And peace with all God's living wonders learn.
