Bishop Jonathan invites you to donate towards good causes during Lent. The recipients of this years Bishop’s Lent Appeal will be: Tearfund: partners with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries to tackle poverty and injustice through sustainable development, responding to disasters and challenging injustice. USPG: an Anglican mission agency that partners with churches worldwide in God’s mission to enliven faith, strengthen relationships, unlock potential and champion justice. Vista: offering support to women involved in the sex industry past or present. If you would like to make a donation please add money in a marked envelope to the collection in church or go online to www.portsmouth.anglican.org/lentappeal

Whether you worked behind the scenes or came along to support the Burns lunch and Variety evening in Seaview - thank you. The total raised came to £2,295.44, 20% of which will go to funding the second water pump in the village of Gbatala, Liberia and the rest to the church’s fabric fund.
