Why not come to our monthly Eco Church gathering at St Helen’s Church this Sunday (23rd February) afternoon, when Michele will be leading a wildlife arts and craft session. As usual, we’ll start with a time of worship at 3.30pm and end with a bring-&-share supper. Whether you’re a regular, or this is your first time, you will be very welcome.

Come along for a beautiful service of Sung Evensong at St John’s Yaverland this Sunday evening (23rd February) at 5.30pm, led by Rev Barry Downer along with Andrew Cooper and a full choir.

Every six years we are required to completely renew the Electoral Roll for the church, so if you would like your name to be included on the roll there are forms at the back of each church. You will need to complete a new form to be included (even if you have done one before) and the roll will close at the end of February and no new names will be added until after the APCMs.

We are hoping to hold Confirmation classes this year, so if you are considering the next steps on your faith journey and feel this is something you would be interested in or would like to chat about please see (or contact) Rev Bevaly.

The first Jumble Sale of 2025 in St Mary’s Church hall is on Saturday 22nd February, doors open 2.00pm. Jumble can be left from 11.00am. Refreshments and a raffle will also be available.

There is a Coffee Morning in St Mary’s Church Hall from 10.00am on Saturday March 8th with The Brading Community Choir providing entertainment, stalls, homemade cakes, chat, Farmer Ralph and a raffle.

There is also an Old Time Music Hall on 8th March at 7.30pm at the Masonic Hall, Seaview. Tickets are £15.00 each and can be booked from Suki Turner Suki(dot)turner(at)icloud(dot)com. Proceeds are in aid of St Peter’s Church and Children in need in Liberia.

St Peter’s Lent Lunches in The Undercroft, Wednesdays 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th March & 2nd, 9th, 16th April from 12.00 – 2.00pm. All are welcome to come along for a light lunch and a chat (food is free but donations are welcome).

The PCC’s of St Helen’s, St Peter’s and St John’s are prayerfully seeking a Parish Safeguarding Officer, a key link between the diocese and a parish concerning safeguarding matters in the delivery of their safeguarding responsibilities. We take Safeguarding seriously in the benefice and would like to appoint someone to work with us to create a safe place for all. Lent Study Group: We are planning to study Finding A Voice, based on The King’s Speech written by Hilary Brand. Starting on Friday 7th March at 7.00pm, in St Mary’s Church hall, when we will watch the film together, with drinks, popcorn and ice creams provided. We will then continue to meet on Fridays 14th, 21st, 28th March and 4th, 11th April at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome and copies of the book can be easily purchased.

If you would like last year's palm cross to be turned into ash for this years Ash Wednesday service please bring them in and give them to your church wardens or Rev Karen by the end of the month.
